Heidi Lynch is a Canadian Screen Award-nominated and internationally acclaimed writer, actor, and producer. Her work prominently features female-focused narratives that delve into underrepresented storylines. You can see her work as co-showrunner/co-producer in both seasons of Avocado Toast the series on Amazon Prime (OUTtv) and Peacock. Lynch secured development and production financing from the Independent Production Fund and the Canada Media Fund for her series Finding Green (KindaTV).  In the unscripted space and slated for release in 2025 is her series Get Hooked (AMI/OUTtv​) which explores the mental health benefits of fishing and nature for underrepresented communities. 

 

Outside of the digital space, Lynch has a 6 x 1-hour erotic thriller in development (with the participation of the Toronto International Film Festival Series Accelerator Program) and her first feature film in development by playwright Ellie Moon with Boss&Co and Keme Productions.

Lynch was recently recognized by Telefilm/Ontario Creates as one of Canada's "Producers to Watch" in Lille, France at Series Mania 2024.
